I sure hope that guy Todd that got hit in Monterey bay is okay.
Its crazy to know that on last tuesday 8/28 (same day as the attack and my birthday ) the aquarium in Monterey put a great white on display.
If you have not heard about this yet, read it on surfline the account of the attack is surreal.
The dolphins were going crazy.
The Monterey Bay aquarium set up a net for a baby white in Malibu.
They catch the white shark, put them in the net and then drag it up north.
This white shark was caught by accident in Ventura by fishermen.
There has never been a white shark that can survive in a tank, the start to die.
So, the aquarium has to release it (after tagging) and find a new baby.
This is the third time that the aquarium has tried this.
i hope todd is ok, too. yeah, i read the articles on surfline and the whole story kinda freaked me out. i surf norcal beaches every week, with my kid in the summer. been seeing a lot of sea animals. and i'm sure there's no coincidence between the shark in captivity and the attack that same day. i'm no expert, but i'm sure they can communicate with each other and i wouldn't be surprised if the one in the tank is complaining a little; peace from up north.
