Davi was a far better waterman than all of us combined. He spent his life in and around the ocean. Weather it was fishing or charging secret spots around the central coast. Sure he stayed up a little longer than some of us, but that doesn't take away from the man/surfer/waterman that he was.

I have surfed all around the world, and one of my greatest memories was at Fullers in 1986. BIGGEST surf i have still to this day paddled into. And it was only me and him that made it out to the lineup....Him yellin at me to go, me wondering why am i here.

I will truly miss him, and he will be in the water with us forever.
