As an ex-patriate from the good 'ole south, I've definitely found a new way of life here in califorina which I prefer to my 'prapa suthun hairtage'. So it's a rare occassion when I praise the south; Derby, Jazz Fest, Holidays with my retired parents and family on a warm Floridian beach in December, and of course a string of great southern rock bands.
But today I'm happy to report that we have fifth thing I love from the south... a swell! It ain't a big one... but it looks like it will be fun. So all you Cali-folk out there get ready.. cause its on its way and we may all need to start using those sick days (or at least tardy slips) this week.
