Just picked up a Vesso 6'1" retro single fin last week and got my first good day on it this weekend... never ridden a short single fin before.  Super fun and forgiving while holding a fast line with minimal pumping required, "it's like riding a combination of my fish & pin tail.  The best of both worlds!"

Heading down to the San Luis Obispo area next month.  Anyone have a recommendation on good places to camp on the beach w/ good spots within walking distance?

I'm going with some buddies and we're renting an RV (yeah that's right... an RV.. this should prove to be interesting...) so we won't be very mobile once we arrive.  Therefore, surf near the site is important.

My crew is at the beginning stage of plannig our annual surf excursion and we're debating this year's location.  Previous years have been spent in Central America (see last year's trip movie @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrF3Kc2Q7Hk) , although we have not been to every country as of yet.

We're planning on doubling our time this year and are considering spending a few weeks in Australia or hitting a few countries in Central America (El Salvador & Panama).
